Casio ctk 5000 Midi-send inoperative

Every other keyboard I've ever played was capable of sending transposed data through midi to my Cubase5 software (or to any other for that matter)

Casio CTK-5000 seems to be unable to do this. Weird really, since it's a universally common practice to avoid playing in difficult keys.

Any other Casio CTK 5000 owner have the same problem? I contacted Casio America but they told me to read the manual ! What does he think I've been doing for a week?? Bloody poor customer relations approach.
