Hello again.

After my last post i've decided to follow your advice and go for Korg.

I've also talked to the shop keeper where i bought the synth, and asked him for advise abought how connect the M50 to my set of PC speakers (Mitsai 5.1, do't know the model).

He shown me a cable consisting of two jacks in one end (Left and Right I think), and a 3.5mm "thingy" in the other end.

Thing is, i've tried every way possible and imaginable of connecting the Korg to the speakers (even trough the PC) and no sound came out.

So, i went to a electronics shop and bought a converter jack (thanks to Skipp) so i could at least try to listen to my instrument through my headset.

The converter jack actually worked, but, the sound only comes out from the left "side" of the headphones.

After that, I obviously went to the computer and tested the headphones there. They worked perfectly.

So, in conclusion: What's wrong with it?!
- Is it the M50 that's busted?
- Are the headphones too cheap to work as good in the synth as it does
in the PC?
- Or is it the converter jack that it's not working properlly?

It feels really bad not be able to enjoy your instrument after spending a lot of money to buy it...

Please, tell me what you think.

Check the jack you've bought.

It needs to be stereo - you'll recognize it by 2 round circles on the top of the jack

Stereo - http://www.advancedmp3players.co.uk/..._mainlarge.jpg

Mono - http://www.tvcables.co.uk/images/ite...-jack-jack.jpg

If you connect your headphones with mono jacks you will only hear one channel playing.

Now - like I already said - when connecting your keyboard to a standard PC speaker system,
you will want to use the "Headphones" output on your keyboard

The phones output is marked with a headphones logo on the m50

All you need to do now is get the stereo 6.35mm (1/4 inch) to 3.5mm jack
and plug your speakers in it - or your headphones.

Also note that you can find headphones that come with the 1/4 jack by default
so you could use those without the converter.

Don't forget that you won't be hearing audio coming from all your speakers if you have a 5.1 system.
Connect the green jack to your keyboard - that way Front Left and Front Right speakers will work.

Either that, or get a 2.1 system that only has 1 cable to plug in

Ok, thank you very much, you have been saving my life lol...

I'll go to the store right away to change the jack and see how this turns out.

OK! Now the M50 it's rolling on full power! xD
I've bought a STEREO converter jack and now it works perfectlly!
With both the headset and the speakers!

I will now post a new thread regarding the sounds and functions of the M50.

Thank you again Skipp.
