The SY22 on the top has been replaced with an Alesis QS6. :)

All the pre sets on the instrument are as is and no sounds can be added to it. I own the DGX 505. You will need a real synth / workstation to do that.

You can MIDI a sound module to get sounds but I think DGX uses USB MIDI port so sounds will half to come from soft synths from ur PC or laptop.

Alot of my hardware and software are not compatible with win7 and I don't see myself buying any new stuff just so I can get the latest OS. Since this PC is mainly used as my DAW and XP being very stable with all my gear I'll never change over. ;) Of course I did install it (win7) in my netbook...

If needing USB, the Triton should have never been put on your list. However the M3 has both firewire and usb. :) Cheers

I would find a KORG TR61, I think it would be enough and more for what you need :)

I have a DGX-505 which I love :) Very nice piano sounds. The only thing that some may gripe about it would be the keys are semi-weighted. I don't mind cause I'm primarily a synth player. :D

My Parents forced me on the Keys when I was 6. There was no turning back after that. :)

Like my 505, only 88 keys....lolz :)
