I'd made track after track using Moog Modular patches yet decided on
the simplicity of one patch each per voice, panned slightly left and
right. The first voice is the AAS Ultimate Analog VA-1 Lead Soft 2.
For the second voice I used the very simple and reverent sine (also
    VA-1).

What results is a very laid back and soulfully relaxing piece - more
so, I think, than when played strictly on piano.

    Enjoy (if you will).

Tanks mon! Yeha that VA-1 is hot. Very usable default patches already
    available.

I prefer slides to knobs. What about you, kemosabe?

Knobs all the way! I guess it's just what I'm used to. And what's in the
    studio...nuttin' but knobs ;)

I thought so for the same reason; you da Moog man - or maybe Mooger
    Man. hee heee heee

I grew up on a JUNO-106. Spotting linear position at a glance is
    easier for me when programming.

hee heee heee I thought you might think something like that. Actually,
I'm 51. ;-) I got into synthesizers late in life 'cause my dad made
fun of me for wanting a Maxi-Korg back when those were new. He crapped
    on my dream pretty badly.

    LOL!
We're only three years apart age wise, but I've always been a Moog/Prophet
    man.

Rich kid. :p I worked part time at the pizzeria across the street
    and couldn't afford a Moog. I was like 15 and the Maxi-Korg - stereo
and 2 note polyphony - was only a $1000. But like I said, I never did
    get it. :-(

Found one used many years later and it couldn't compare to my JUNO's so
I didn't waste the mony. Same store had a Moog Prodigy that my wife
bought me for my birthday. <ggg>

That's gone. I wasn't using it so I gave it to my pal Jerry Fielden in
    Montreal.

Hey, what synth is it on that Bee Gee's song /Nights/ /on/ /Broadway/?
I love that short line. Is that a Prophet, ya think?

I'd love to have a Prophet '08 PE.
    http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/Prophet08PE/

I'd settle for this while I'm poor. ;-)
    http://www.sweetwater.com/store/search.php?s=Prophet '10&go=Search

Check out that Arturia the One. The licenses available on that are
fantastic. Unreal deal. I might buy that within a year.
