I'd be interested in exchanging experiences with any 2661 users. I'm having
some things happen that I can't explain from the documentation.

I'm trying out the digital out's and when I go through them the master
    volume control has no effect.

I've not tried this on a K2661, but I think the volume control is
pretty much for the analog outs only.

Most of the keys that I have messed with that have digital outs,
assume it's for recording and optimize the level for that. I think
the additional assumption is that you'll set the proper level at the
    board.

    Hope that helps.

Thanks, Michael, I think that's correct for the 2661 as well, just hadn't
thought of it that way. Do you have a Kurzweil synth. There don't seem to be
many Kurzweil users, at least compared to some of the other synths. Thanks
    again for the help.

Oh, yeah, I have a long history with K's, dating back to the K2000. I
believe I'm on Kurz #6 or 7 -- kinda lost track. Currently I have a
    K2661 as well.

There's LOTS of Kurz users -- lots of 'em hang out here:

    Hope that helps...
