want quality tones for that big fat 80's synth sound. covering anything from pop to hair metal (prince, loverboy, night ranger, journey, whitesnake. etc.) how much would i have to spend second hand to get something good that sounds professional and does not sound like a toy...specifiec suggestions too if you have one.... thanks. matt.

I would say get a second hand triton ($500-$1000) It should keep you covered

Exactly - Trinity (if you don't need the sampling), or a Triton.

    Cheap - great keyboards

Hello Burn and Skipp. Wouldn't a little Alesis Micron do the job?

    Or a midi controller and a JV1010?

EBay or whatever Craigslist is that I see mentioned on the forums.

The Juno D would do the job too IMO.

yeah i believe that a juno D would do the job, i dont think a micron would be a good idea. but i believe that your best bet would be a triton or trinity.
