I just got a roland d-70 from my school band director because it didn't work. When first turned on, it appears functional and the Roland logo scrolls up, but when it goes to the main screen, it's scrambled at the top where the name of the voice should be and at the bottom where the names of other performances should be. All other screens that I've seen are fine and so far I've tried resetting it to the factory settings but that hasn't worked. I've changed patch levels and part levels, but it still makes no sound except for the built-in demo. I don't know a lot about synthesizers and I don't have any more ideas. The software is version 1.1.16
