Hello everyone, I just received my grace period Cubase 5. As I thought, the manual is in English. My language is French, and I wondered if the foreign language manual could be mail ordered. I know that I can always get a pdf version of the French manual, but for some softwares, I like to be able to read them without having to be in front of my PC (if you know what I mean . Anyway, I thought that some of you might have asked themselves the very same question. Huey

They'll print and bind it for you at a reasonable price leaving lots of room for notes in the margins. Bonne Chance, CS

And about having it printed, I have to say that I think it's going to cost what the printed manual could have costed. So ordering it would just be a saving of time and efforts ;-) Plus I'd have a beautiful manual to read in the little composer's room But when I read "leaving lots of room for notes in the margins" , I realized it was not so bad a solution. I loooove to put notes on manuals (it saves so much time not to have to figure out things twice). So , be acknoweledged that your simple remark changed my mind > Bonne Chance, CS - ;-) Thanks Huey

All that to say, I think you're right, the difference in price is not likely the primary motivator (it's probably cheaper to order it...though, I confess, I have no idea about the availability of hard copy manuals "en français"), but I gotta tell you, I had the thing much faster by printing it myself than I would have gotten through snailmail...and it's likely better quality in a binder...next to the Ableton manuals (which did not come in hardcopy). Continuing on the plus side, since I didn't need all the notation stuff, and since the Mackie Huey stuff hasn't changed in 15 years, I didn't print those sections...try doing that with a bound copy ;-) En autres mots: Dans mon avis, ca vaux la peine de le faire toi même...pour mois, le manuel (bien noté par l'utilisateur) est indispensables. J'espère sincèrement que vous trouvez une solution rapide...c'est un outils fantastique. Cheers, CS

And anyway, I'll have to print it divided in several "volumes" or chapters, because I don't think a 20cm thick paperback book will be very convenient So I will also make a selection, I think. - > c'est un > outils fantastique. - I hope it is Huey
