    Hi,
    I'm Rossi from the Canaries.
I've had a Roland JW 50 workstation for years and a friend gave me a Roland U220 sound module. My limitations on tech stuff is seriously bad!!!
Can I just connect the U220 from its port to the mother keyboard (JW 50) without doing any serious damage?. Do I plug it it in and the sounds will appear like magic through the keyboard?

If you mean with a MIDI connection, then it's not quite that easy (you have to make sure both keyboards are using the same MIDI channel), but probably yes.

Audio? Probably not. Most keyboards aren't designed to handle an audio signal from another keyboard.
