controller to computer to amp?

    I have a midi controller which i am using with my computer via midi/usb cable. How do i go from my computer to an amp? My midi cable has midi in/out which both connect to the usb.

    do i have to use the headphone jack to go to an amp?

    Maybe. Stick up some specs - is there a soundcard in your computer?
