    Hello,
I have Cubase3 SX and have MIDI kind of working with it. I can record
MIDI and see the MIDI data in the track but my problem is that I can't
seem to control or even get out the correct sounds of the keyboard I
have it connected to via MIDI. I have a Korg Triton LE.
Is there something I have to configure to get the sounds from it?
    Thanks,
    Jim

    "Local Off" on the keyboard?

If I understand your setup correctly, you will need two midi cables. One
goes from MIDI OUT on the Korg to the MIDI in of your sound card. This
one seems to be working. Then you will need another one from your sound
card's MIDI OUT to the MIDI IN of the Korg. This will feed the recorded
notes from Cubase into the Korg so it can actually produce sounds.
And yes, like Xoddi says, you will have to set "Local OFF" so the
sounds can be controlled by Cubase.
Sorry if this is a bit obvious and does not solve your problem.

    Jos.
