direct x wrapper

    i've had some good results in 5.1with a "direct x wrapper", so I get
    to keep
    using my ancient plugins. Just tried a freeware - acon - wrapper and
    seems
    to work. Is there something better, or is a wrench still just a wrench
    in
    this case. any thoughts appreciated.
