Hi all: Looking for some help getting my Fantom XR to sit in GM mode. I want to send a bunch of GM MIDI files to it and want it to sound "right". I'll tweak each individual channel later, but most of my gear has a GM "mode" you can put it in and it just invokes a GM map across all channels. I can only find a way to do that on a channel by channel basis so far. What am I missing if I want to globally put the thing in GM mode for a while? Cheers, Dave.
I use Cakewalk 9.0. I know it's old but it has worked for me for a while. I do an edit that adds a GM reset header to every file.
