    Hello to you all
I know I can run msconfig and get programs, "NOT" to load
at start up, but is there a way to make certain programs load
    with windows?
I want either LUI or C-Console to load with windows so I
don't have to load it manually.
I'm sure it can be done....am I right???
    Thanks in advance
    Steve

Or use regedit to add it to the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft
\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run key. Nah, the other way is simpler. ;)

    Sue,
You mean my "Start Menu Folder"? It's been like that for years
but that doesn't make it load automatically with windows which is what I'm
    after.
    Cheers
    Steve

    Right. got it Sue
I was just adding it to the start menu and not
the start folder. It's now working as I'd hoped.
    Cheers

Or, if you want to do both (get some programs to run when windows
starts and some not, a startup manager like StartEd Lite is good.
