Hi all I'm rather a newbie and I'd like to know if there are any good synthesis tutorials out there. Unfortunately, I didn't find any that went any further than "what is an LFO" and "what are envelopes" when searching myself... I've grasped the basics, know what a filter is, know how to look at existing sounds and take them apart and also have created some sounds myself, like a laser effect sound and a bell. But I feel I'm still missing a wide range of knowledge of how I should go for creating fat basses, strings or other atmospheric background sounds from scratch. Could any of you point me to such a tutorial?
