I got my GR-20 and the guitar I'll be using it with the other day. This is a pretty impressive unit. For the most part, the sounds are excellent. Like any synth module, there are a few that you'll never use, but even those sound good. I'm going through a bass amp, and the clarity and realism is impressive. Technique doesn't have to be changed much. You just have to play cleanly. And remember that you're not playing a guitar, but whatever instrument you have selected. The unit is very easy to operate. There's not a lot of editing possible, but the sounds are great just by themselves. I'm playing with an Epiphone Les Paul Custom (white with gold hardware) through a Fender bass amp. Let's just say that it's a good thing I don't have any neighbors.
