Last night, my Kaspersky AV found this BRAND NEW virus in both the live copy
of freeware plug-in "TwinDelay" in my Cubase VST Plug-Ins folder and in the
archived .zip copy I had downloaded from the programmers' site.

    I don't blame the programmers:

"The virus, called Win32.Induc.A, spreads by infecting systems that have the
Delphi compiler (versions up to 7.0) installed. Any programs which are
subsequently compiled using the compromised compiler contain the virus
    code."

I believe that the Cubase Plug-In development tool is a Delphi SDK.

I let the programmers know, but haven't heard back from them.

    Scan them downloads.
