What you need should be found inside the Cubase installation package of which you can find several versions here: ftp://ftp.steinberg.net/Archives/Cubase_VST/PC/ with Cubase_VST_5.2.pb1 being the last version to be released in that particular guise of Cubase. If you have the correct dongle for Cubase VST 5/32, it shouldn't be a problem for you. You'll need to reinstall Cubase as I don't think it's that easy to extract what you want from the installer. The whole file is about 10MB Nick

The correct and non beta MROS file for your version of VST will be bundled up in your installer package though. Double check your audio/MIDI card driver to ensure that the correct MIDI output device is selected and not emulated MIDI out. It's a very long time since I used VST/32 version 5. I still have all the installation discs, manuals and original dongle though
Hi all, I am using VST5/32( i know, i know), I sometimes get my midi failing to be output correctly. i.e.. I can see the green indicator light up saying that midi is being received, but the red output light does not light up. I seem to remember that there was a known issue with the original MROS which was sorted out by updating to a new MROS.dll. Would any kind soul please be able to point me in the right direction for grabbing the file needed to fix this annoying problem? Many thanks in advance & cheers! n
Sorry all, I just realised I had used my stupid SP nym which I had setup for a joke on an other forum. Apols for the absurd name. Please disregard and Happy 4th to all the US people in here! <Sarah Palin for President 2012!!> wrote in message news:... > Hi all, > > I am using VST5/32( i know, i know), I sometimes get my midi failing to be > output correctly. > > i.e..
