I just have one question. I'm about to buy a motif xs7 and I am currently using the Sonar 3 on my computer (I know, I know... I'm not that up to date) I just wanted someone to tell me if the motif xs7 and the sonar3 are compatible, Please... hehehe thanks, bye:confused:

Sonar 3 recognizes standard midi input from any midi device with standard midi implementation. To that end, the Motif should be "compatable". Of course, a midi interface is required to connect the midi connections from the keyboard to the computer (and vise-versa),

    what a relief!!!

    thanks b3maniac.
I do own de M-Audio Fastrack pro interface, heck of a machine. Another question if you don't mind: Do you recomend to record audio into the Motif XS7 or is it still better to use a regular DAW such as sonar an use it in your computer? (Memory-wise and quality-wise)
    Thanks again,
    Tincho;)
