How can I EQ midi tracks outputted through a VST Instrument (the way I do with audio tracks)? I want better highs or more gain on one track. I am using a VSTi from Garritan Personal Orchsestra (which is truly incredible).

One is the MIDI that controls the instrument. The other (rather further along to the R) is an audio channel that carries the output. You can treat it exactly the same as any other audio channel. Sorry, Gill! But you do know, how to use Google and other search engines? In case, you´ve completely missed the last 10 years: yes, nowadays it is pretty common, if not normal, that every company selling software, has a so-called "website". On this website, there´s usually information on the company´s products - and sometimes even pricing. Unbelievable, but yet true! So, let´s take a trip throughout the www... You´re looking for a software product with the word "Garritan" in its name. Go to your favourite web-data collector (examples: www.google.com , www.bing.com, www.yahoo.com , www.cuil.com ), type the word "garritan" (without the " before and after the word) into the search field and press Enter/Return (whatever you prefer to call this key). Wow, the first result in the list points to.... http://www.garritan.com Who would´ve thought that??? Real big surprise!!! Could that be the place, where you can find information about Garritan´s products? And even directly from the people, who make and sell this software? :-O Oh yes, a click on the word "Products" unveils even more information. Amazing!

No, you will need a computer as well Sorry about that. I notice that Garritan PSO comes with ARIA playback engine which functions as a VST plugin in Cubase. Besides, you can use it as a standalone program. I have Garritan Jazz & Big Band which works in the same way, only it came with Kontakt which crashes occasionally at startup.
