Cubase Studio 4 for Windows. I've got a dry VST instrument track set up sent to an FX track with a delay on insert. (example only) Is there a setting that I can use to export only the wet output of the FX channel? I want to do bad things to it. Currently I am exporting a wet track using the effects as an insert on the instrument track, setting them to full wet, and then changing them back to full dry and recording the instrument in a separate pass. I think I am missing something.

This should route the signal before its level is modified by the fader. Once you've done that, you just have to pull the channel fader al the way down and bounce the master channel. You will only have the wet signal of the muted channel. Don't know cubase 4 though. Huey

I believe the following should work. In the Connections setting, create a separate output bus. No matter if you have only one physical stereo output pair, just add a bus and name it something like Tumbolia. Now you can set the output of the FX channel to "Tumbolia". In the Export Audio dialog, select "Tumbolia" as the output to be exported. Hope this helps (and works), Jos. -- Ardis Park Music www.ardispark.nl
