Hello People. I'm new to this forum. I own a Roland Ax synth. And I've been using only its inbuilt sound engine. I think its time i exploit its true potential. But I've never used midi.. So how do i start? Will i be able to use any tone i like online and play through my keytar?

P.S. - I have a midi cable and Usb connector for my keytar. Whatever is required.. :)

BTW, you're not only limited to computer based soft synths.

You can also use hardware based synth modules or even MIDI enabled synth keyboards as your sound sources as well.

Here's a couple worth looking at.

Just plug in one of these to your MIDI output and you'll have thousands of sounds at your disposal.

Gary ;)
