It's now time to vote on the new Hydro Records logo...

Over 20 Excellent submissions have been considered by committee and 10
    finalists have been chosen.

    http://hydrorecords.com/radio/index.php?act=ST&f=8&t=354&st=0

Once you join as a DJ (it's EZ) you can vote on the logo and also hydrocast
songs and write reviews. If you are cool, let me know and I'll add you to
the sOnAr group for special features.

If you're not familiar with Hydro Records Radio, a good place to get started
    is the FAQ:

The results of this "experiment" have been beyond what I had hoped for...
Now I have tons of people to work with... everyones artwork was 10 times
better than anything I can do. I can think of a lot of different ways to use
the art that everyone created. After the voting, I'd like to make a gallery
with a link to the artists website or email... depending on what the artists
    think..

    VOTING IS LIVE

Please note the voting is automated...

Emailing me or naming your selection in a reply to the thread doesn't get
    your vote counted... :)

You need to make your choice and submit the vote.

It's probably the grouping. She wants the b) or c) item (like I did) but
there is only a radio button on the a) idem which I assumed voted for any of
    the three.

    Oh..

They're grouped together by artist so the votes dont get split... Both 1a
and 1b are by the same person... so a vote for one is a vote for both.

I'm making arrangements to secure those two "non-bud" logos for use on the
website, even if they dont win.

    Thanks,
    Justin

Justin, it's your site so's you get to do it however you want and that's ok by
me. But, when I finally get my act together and get my songs on a better host,
I won't be able to do anything with a site that has a "bud" or cannabis leaf in
the logo. I don't get the luxury of thumbing my nose at authority so I hope you
    understand.

    Background Info:

Hydro Records = Boston Hip Hop Label - Sole Proprietor: Just Cron
    http://hydrorecords.com

Hydro Records Radio = Next Generation Online Radio - Member Controlled
    http://radio.hydrorecords.com

2 related, yet separate entities. In my communication I've tried to be clear
that this contest is for the Hydro Records new logo... Radio graphics are
different... in fact designing a new Hydro Records Radio website is an
    entirely different project.

There are no built in rules here... everyone is certainly entitled to their
opinion, but to me someone saying they dont want to be associated with a
certain artistic theme is similar to another member saying they dont want to
    be associated with Electronic music.

I could have let just the bOsToN group vote or chosen the Hydro Records logo
myself because I'm very happy with the logos. but I thought the voting would
be the most fair way of choosing the new Hydro Records logo, especially
since theres money on the line.

You can't please everyone, but I try to keep everyone involved...

I'm very much pro-drugs. I think many more people should be on mind-altering
drugs than already are -- assuming a few limitations which I won't enumerate
    here.
However, I think it's a business and social mistake to focus one's
    relationships around whatever drug-of-choice.

I am too. I currently use Tylenol, Advil, Actifed, Sudafed and an occasional
Benadryl. I have to wean myself off the Actifed as they make me very grouchy.
I have been known to hit the NyQuil when I'm down with a serious ailment.
