    Hi,

Im' being annoyed with the memory limit of WinXP pro.

Many bugs occur when I try and load patches or plugins as a large cubase
    session in open.
The same patches or plugins load fine with an empty session.

In the task manager, it is said tha cubase uses 1 150 000 ko
I have 4Go of physical memory.

    Questions:

    - How to check that the /3GB of the boot.ini is actually effective?

    - I heard that cubase SX 1 is LargeAddress Aware (LAA)

    - I read that if the host (cubase) is LAA, there is no need for its
plugins to be patched with Laatido. Is this true?

    - Is Kontakt 3 LAA?

I woudl'nt mind going to a 64bit OS, but instinctively, I think that
Vista is not the major 64bit OS that will last a bit. I do this
compared, for instance to Win98SE or WindowsXP SP1/2 wich were the ones
which many musician worked with during many years.
