Hello, the volume control of my Juno 60 scratches very noisy. Does somebody know, what kind of volume control I have to buy for changing? Greetings Gerd

Get a can of Control/Contact Cleaner & Lubricant from Radio Shack, stock number 64-4315. Open the synth case to get at the volume pot from behind the face cover. Stick the spray can straw into one of the little holes on the pot and give it one little spray. Immediately start twisting the volume post back and forth many times quickly. Wipe or dab up any mess and put things back together. It can be a good thing to turn the synth on before you work the dirt and oxides out of the pot so you'll be able to hear when the crackling clears up. Not necessary though. I have three JUNO-106s, a Jupiter-4, and a Moog Prodigy. Such crackling problems have been cleared up fine for me with spray cleaner. You can get JUNO-60 parts on eBay. Here's a shortened link to a JUNO-60 search: http://tinyurl.com/kdnfv You can also buy a new potentiometer with the same value (stamped on it's cover). Make sure you get an audio taper (volume control) not a linear taper. I hope this helps. -- Respectfully, Ru Drisi heartsofmusic.com It's not jazz but I like it. - Steve Allen
Thank you very much for helping.
