I've run into something I don't know how to fix or get around. I should tell you I bought my K2500 about 5 years ago only to take on gigs with me for all the great sounds and ease of use. I've never gotten into any kind of programming or anything with it. I have some basic roms in it (Orch, piano, and comtempory). I don't know anything about it other than turning it on and playing the pre-programed sounds. Well the bands over now and I'm getting back into recording some original music, which I was doing before the band came along. Today I wanted to record a basic snare sound, just to keep timing while recording other instruments. When I pushed the record button I got an "out of memory" message. I rebooted but still got the same message. I was going to try and record the snare and loop it to keep time. I'm not sure why I would get this message. During the band years I did create a few special programs of instruments but I've since deleted them. Can anyone help me understand and get around this? Thanks, Don.....

Does it have any RAM in it? I takes an ancient type - 30 pin If memory serves - two sticks. I forget if the max is 32 megs or 64, but I think it's the latter. The memory is still available - try 18004memory.com
