Hi all. I'm a totally blind XP user using Microsoft's own standard 101
Natural Key keyboard. A friend suggested I try the English
International keyboard layout for typing Spanish characters. Everything
works well except the right+alt+N combination which is supposed to yield
this character: ñ. To type that just now, I had to use the
alt+numpad164 combination. In any case, when I switch to this
international layout, pressing the right-alt+N triggers the control key.
I have notepad set to open with the control+alt+N key combination. So,
since this layout is triggering control key presses when I don't
actually press the key, it's launching notepad rather than typing my
beloved Spanish N with the tilda. I've also checked other right alt+key
Combinations using this layout and find that any use of the alt key plus
a letter in that layout will trigger the control key and launch one of
    my start menu programs hotkeys.

Are there better drivers for this Microsoft keyboard than whatever they
automatically supply? Are there entirely configurable keyboard layouts
where I could theoretically map characters to be triggered by my own key
combinations? If not, can this US English International layout be
somehow configured from within XP, even by editing the registry?

    Thanks,
    Orlando in Philadelphia
