korg pa300, does any one know how to make it work monophonicly , as once you exit edit mode

after seting the osalators to mono [ for right hand solos/left hand pads,] which it does do, but then, the mono patches autamaticly go back into polyphomic mode once exiting the edit page, [ though ossalaters still say they are in mono,] ie all the notes run into each other when setting a long fading release, eg for filter sweeps, and 1st note doesnt cut off when new note played, manuuel no help, though from what it does say, it should work correctly the way its ment to, but it doesnt ! also same problem whith my old pa50 10 years ago, is this a fault with the entier pa range any one help !
