I was trying to download a midi file after I edited it with Cakewalk. After
I loaded it onto my K2vx, the keyboard froze. So now, everytime I try to
turn the unit on, it's stuck in this infinite loop on the main splash
screen. I think it says V.A.S.T v3.18 with the sine wave.

I tried performing a soft reset... nothing. Removed the batteries....
nothing. Removed the memory SIMMS, same thing.

    Any recommendations.

    Thanks in advance,
    Alex

You might try removing power and the batteries for a really long time
    - say overnight.

Don't know if you've tried it but it's worth a shot...
