Kurzweil SP2-76 dead

My Kurzweil stage piano, which has worked just fine for several years, is now dead...no lights, no sound, nothing. I live in Brazil and it's difficult to find a technician who will come to my apartment (I'm unable to schlep the keyboard around), so I'm wondering if it might be the power supply (adaptor)? If so, I could buy a new one, which is fairly reasonable priced here. I'm willing to take the risk, if that might possibly be the problem.

Any other reasons why the keyboard would just suddenly cease to work?

Get a voltmeter and test if the power supply is outputting any voltage before you replace it.
