You've push a political button every now and again but you are the MAN when it comes to fixing cubase stuff. I went back and installed SL3 on my kids machine and from there I can open the OS9 files and save them again. Cubase 5 opens SL3..... a few steps but hey! It works!!! Thanks again for Cubase help.... you've done it before but I think this is the best gift yet. What I pain I was facing and now - no pain! Have a great weekend Danny
