What does it mean when I click on the upper left of a track and a
    little blue triangle lights up?

Sonar I assume? I believe that's to temporarily group tracks. Not sure
exactly what "temporarily " means or why they even bothered. To me it's just
a PITA that keeps getting accidently clicked and adds to GUI clutter. YMMV.

    It's a quick group triangle.
Drag on the desired tracks and then you can temporarily group all the
controls on a bus, track, or track folder.

Thanks! (Although I didn't ask the question, I always wondered what that
    was for.)
