Hello everyone, I've been playing keyboard for about two years and use a midi controller and either Reason or VSTi's. However, I have not been able to find the keyboard sound I want. In my mind it's a very common sound in rock music, but because I cant describe it in words I'll post a you tube link: If you check out the song around two minutes it has the type of sound i'm going for. Just a very dark keyboard sound. Does anyone know if I can get this with either a VstI or a Reason Refill? I believe the keyboardist from that band uses Reason and ProTools for his keyboard sounds.
That is a vintage electric piano with slight vibrato, and maybe some other processing. Check out your reason sounds called "EP" , Rhodes, Wurly, etc. One of those should fit the bill. B3
