I really want a vocoder- something that I could hook up to my Yamaha MO-8. Being a poor teenager, I don't have money to purchase a micro Korg or something like that.

I'm completely new to this. Where do I start? What is something I should look into purchasing? I really don't want to spend over $200 for it.

    I'm a poor teenager, I got a micro korg fairly easily :)
If you're looking for a vocoder though, AVOID IT. My Kaoss Pad has a clearer vocoder on.. but neither are very good. I'm yet to find a clear vocoder to be honest, they all process your voice too much and you cant understand what your saying.
