Slightly topic specific - has anyone sorted out browsing any native
instruments to this? I've just gone for the Komplete package from NI
and I'm hoping there's already some way of linking it's sounds to
    cubase Media Bay!

    Thanks in advance.

    do you mean this

    http://www.native-instruments.com/index.php?id=koreplayer

I downloaded it and it integrated seamlessly as VST add-on

but when I played the MDI tracks throught it, the sound was worse than MIDI
    !!!

(also it installed drivers which made my original cheesy sound like an
orchestra. Luckily, I had a backup copy of my original drivers).

I mean the Kore drivers played MIDI files so badly that, by comparison,
my 'cheesy' sound sounded infinitely better

What "Kore driver(s)" are you talking about?????
I have installed the "Kore Player" as VSTi and stand-alone on several
machines (=computers) and never experienced, that a new driver would have
been installed along with the Kore Player.

Sorry, but I´m obviously not as "pro" as you are.

BTW: entering MIDI notes through a Casio keyboard has nothing to do with
using a Casio keyboard as a sound generator. ;-)

Well, I'm unlucky then. But luckily I have backup copies
