First of all let me say that I am 72 and not particularly tecky savvy. I have a Yamaha Prs 500 keyboard and a Yamaha EL70 organ. I would like to connect the twoas tghe PSR has some nice voices and styles that I would like to use with my EL70. I undertsand that both have Midi in/out. Can someone tell me what I need to do to effect this if it is at all possible. Many Thanks VinceB
Oh my Lord - I now know another human being on this planet who has a Yamaha PSR-500 other than myself!!! Having said that, making MIDI work on the PSR-500 did my head in so much, I ended up buying another keyboard! Anyway, if you want to play the EL and have sound coming out of both, you connect the MIDI OUT on the EL to the MIDI IN of the PSR-500 Basically, signals go OUT from the EL and INto the PSR.
