Been doing studio only stuff for years, but now I'm going live, so I need advice on the best way to setup my song basslines on the MM6... I want to play eighth notes, say in C for one bar, then A for one bar, then G for two bars, then repeat it. I'd like to set it up so I can just hit the C key once and have it play eighth notes in C, then I can hit the A key, etc. I tried an arpeggio, but you have to hold down the key... can you build a bass-only pattern?

I thought I'd build something like this in eighth notes, another in quarter notes, etc so I can concentrate on the lead since I'm not too great on the keyboard. I'll have songs setup with a split board and I can just change memory for each song, but for now, the bassline is a challenge.

    Any tricks out there?

    thanks
