my keyboard makes now sound does komplete make it?

Hi, I just bought a http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002M8GBDI/ref=oss_product

and it doesn't make sound. It isn't supposed to. I was wondering if I can use it with Komplete 7 elements to make music? Or make instrument sounds? Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks. Derek

Short answer - yes and Komplete 7 is a great resource to have.

Have you done anything like this before - play VSTs on a laptop from a controller keyboard? Do you have any software already?

See if you can get it working with free software first before buying the Native Instruments package (which is great but will take ages to install).

Try this for a VST host: (Cantabile Lite) http://www.cantabilesoftware.com/lite/

and load something into it like this: (OP-X Free) http://www.sonicprojects.ch/obx/products.html
