This is driving me crazy, can you help?

In the early 1970s there was a one hit wonder synth pop hit by a band that
may have been French. They wore space suits so you never saw their faces &
when they appeared on the UK TV show TOPT (Top of the Pops) they were shown
against a superimposed star field, as if floating in space.

This is NOT the hit single "Popcorn"! Everyone remembers that, this one I'm
after is the same sort of vintage & sounds like it used similar instruments,
    but it's a different track.

I know this is a vague question, but I'm hoping some expert out there knows
    what it is.

    Thanks.

I think you're talking about 'Magic Fly' by a band called Space.

    Hope that helps,
