New Guy With Midi Question

    Hi all, I am new here. Drums are my first instrument but I have been messing around with keyboards for some time. I have a question about midi controlling a Kawai K1 from a Yamaha PSR450. The Kawai is coming out one octave lower. I tried transposing the K1 but it made no difference. Any help or advice would be appreciated.

    Now that's a strange one..... out of curiosity, what happens when yo transpose the Yammy?

    The Yamaha sends out the transposed information. It might just be that the Kawai is old tech.
