My newest song. This one is a vocal song about the brown dwarfs that
are hanging out with the Orion Nebula. It's titled "Brown Dwarf" at:

    Thanks Gregor! :)

I just came in (1:00 AM) from looking at the Orion Nebula. Although I
couldn't see any brown dwarfs, I could clearly see the 4 stars that make up
the Trapezium, and the three stars in a line above and to the right, like
    in this pic. http://www.astropix.com/IMAGES/B_WINTER/TRAPEZ.JPG

Great song, Glennbo! I really dig it. Maybe a different ending
instead of a fade out would be cool.

I always like your astronomy and science type songs. Beats the heck
out of music that always talks about trying to get laid. :p

    You go, boi!!!

I had that whole entire concert on my HTPC for a while! The music
channel "Palladia" aired the whole concert, and I snagged it!

I always liked the way they added BIG orchestration to basic two
guitars, bass, and drums rock music in the 60s and 70s.

That's the new "Hit Factory" kit I bought a few months ago. I'm still
refining the mix for that kit, but it's starting to get in the groove
    where I ultimately want it.

    Tanks Mon! :)

Yeah, I was pressed for time and took the easy way out! I spent
more time on this than I actually had due to the vocals and lyrics.
Also, unlike most of my toons, I had the concept right from the start.
I had been looking up info on the Orion Nebula, and found lots of
info about Brown Dwarfs. Right then I opened my DAW and saved an
empty song titled "Brown Dwarf" that was nothing but the tempo, and
a scratch drum pattern from Superior Drummer. The next day I started
adding 12-string electric and bass parts, and it grew from there.

Hehe, you can almost learn something, listening to my toons! ;)

Best way to do it. Grab the inspiration & run with it.

Kewl Toon. Slams right into it. I like the sectional A/B/C thing. Rhythm
stays pretty much the same with a major to minor harmonic shift. Pretty
    subtle.

The lyric/vocal has really excellent rhythmic & melodic directional flow.
Feels as if you were speaking the words in a conversation. Mebbe even a
lecture. Yea, that's it! A lecture on Astrological Musical Composition. So
break out the tweed sportcoat (complete w/ patches on the elbows) perfesser
    ;) Let's hear some more !

I don't even try to record anything if I'm not inspired. Today I started
messing around with some stuff, but in the end, I just tweaked on some
drums until they were fun to play, then saved it as a template of later.

    Thanks Steve! :)

All I know is that rhythm guitar part is an electric 12-string! ;)

Next I'll do one about walking on the Sun. The lyrics will start out,
"OOCH OOCH, OUCH, OW OW OW OW OW"!!! <g>
