What the hell? Outta the blue this 'insert send assistant' shows up - and my regular send parameters are gone. Track sends, including when grayed out - no longer show pre or post fader button......... no panning control. Looks like solely insert sends. How can I get my regular sends back? Thanks.......... Never mind....... figured it out. Weird how the 'insert send assistant' just appeared after all this time.... did all 8.5 upgrades a long time ago. Way too many variables..... I don't use the Send Assistant much, but it can actually be handy from a workflow perspective as, once you get used to it, you can set up the send and the bus and the effect on the bus all in one relatively tight operation. In particular, it saves on opening and closing, and maneuvering around, the bus pane when you're doing it in Track View. The reason I don't use it much is because I tend to forget about it -- old habits die hard, you know.
