Hi, I'm currently reading the cubase 5 english manual, patiently waiting for the French translation to be published. I just read this: " To get the lowest possible latencies when using ASIO under Windows XP (on a single CPU system), the "system performance" has to be optimized for background tasks..." What makes me wonder is the precision "on a single CPU system" and "under Windows XP". Does it mean that a multiprocessor system doens't have to be set this way? or perhaps: shouldn't be set this way? Same question with "under XP". Does it mean that under Vista, there is no need for this setting to be done? Not that I use Vista, but it would be something to make a note of. What do you think? Huey
