OT - One of my favorite low-priced windows tweak tools now free

    Sad news for me :-( Company folded and there will be no more updates to
    one of my favorite tweak tools.

    The good news: Anyone still using Win9x/NT/200x/XP/Vista, this tool is
    still a handy one to have IMO, so go grab a copy. The devs released a
    lifetime serial for it (see above page).

    Huh...I had forgotten about that one. It doesn't do 64bit, does it?

    I've no idea sorry. The vendor's doc page is gone and the Majorgeeks
    page doesn't say one way or the other.

    I assuming you're asking abou Win7x64.

    You could try installing it and that will answer your question... Take
    an image first for insurance :) I've not had even a partially failed
    install on a Win7 installation (32 or 64 bit) cause any lasting problems
    to the OS (so far -- knock on head, er, wood). Win7 seems to be able to
    clean up after 'bad installs' at lot better than Vista or XP, whether
    via rollback or by uninstalling.
