Hi! I´m new to this group and I would appreciate your help! After selling my JV-1080 I found out that I missed it too much, so I bought a 2080 with 9 expansion cards (haven´t decided yet wich one not to install...). I remember the gruelling task of naming the patches in the Device manager in Cubase SX, and I can´t even imagine doing it again with all these patches... Does anyone have patch scripts to install in Cubase SX? I´m looking for scripts for: Orchestral 1 & 2, Vintage synths, Keyboards of the 60/70´s, Bass & Drum, Hip-hop, Techno, Super Soundset and FX collection.
Go to http://www.obscure.org/~riveted/patchscripts.html There are two 2080 scripts available for download - basic and extended. Even if they don't cover all your expansion cards they're bound to be better than starting from scratch!
