I just got one of these via musiciansfriend ($959.99 US), primarily because I needed superior emulations of acoustic instruments such as cello, violin, clarinet. I'm glad to know that there is a usenet group for Kurz users! I've got a lot to learn... the manual is pretty intimidating, to me. So far I have managed OK. I'm thinking about bribing a friend who has at least a couple of Kurzweils to come over and just help me move ahead in understanding how to get the most out of this delightful module. --David
Yup, it's good there a group. There's also a moderated list (called "Kurzlist") over at yahoogroups.com. This list is considerably better populated by knowledgeable enthusiasts, and there's a digest form too, so you don't get forty-'leven emails a day from the list -- just one biggun. Hope that helps...
