What is a good PCIe Sound Card for use with Cakewalk and for
recording? I noticed that all the cards available (and all of the
motherboards available) support PCIe x1. I thought there might
be x4 or x8 options out there for better bandwidth but no,

Anyway, advice would be appreciated. TIA.

    RME HDSPe AIO

it retails around 510 Euros over here...

I've been using HDSP 9632's for a long time.. and I'm looking for
an excuse to buy the PCIe version - which is the HDSPe AIO

Rock-steady - set and forget - and there's very good customer
    support and web forum....

Thanks! Their website helped me track down a dealer a stone's throw
    away from me
and I vaguely know the owner of the shop.
