Using a MO 8 synthesizer, and NO module sequencer, like the DSI Mono Evolver. How can I replicate that song? CAN IT BE DONE?

Wow...I'm interested in how that can be replicated as well! Good luck!

    Sure! it's not very hard...
You just have to be able to play the riff tight and steady.
Takes some strength to do 16th notes for a full 3 minutes.
Its like doing the Rick Wakeman Hammond arpeggios in Yes,
    just a little trickier..
If you are advanced enough to play it with your right hand ONLY,
then you can use your left to adjust the cutooff frequency to the filter when needed,
and also, bring up the filter resonance, and mod wheel when its time.
Or use two hands and use foot controllers for that stuff.
Jordan Rudess has a YT clip of him doing it pretty close on a little phatty.
He uses the sequencer, but you can see what hes doing with the knobs
if you cant figure it out.
A keyboard arpeggiator WON'T do it.
Im not familiar with your synth, but Ive seen it done on something as basic
as a minimoog, and a Korg Poly800. And that doesnt even have knobs.
Just value keys. If you dont know the riff, You can find it on the net.
There is always one note in contention, but Gilmore did an interview
and spelled it out exactly note 4 note.
It was him, not the keyboardist that came up with it.
If it's the same Pink Floyd band Im thinking of...:D
