    Here's another Invention:

In the beginning their is an ornament played - a mordent. It's a
quickie and sounds odd to me on one of the patches I used. Sounds to
me like there's a defect in the file rather than a musical flourish.
What's it sound like to you?

    Input; ideas?

You mean the quick change from the A to B on the french horn?

    Wow! You're amazing. Yep. It's a quick B-A-B.

I programmed that horn type sound on the JUNO-106. All my JUNO sounds
    are my own.

I think it sounds odd because it's not working as a slur, like a real horn would play it,
but working like a more defined note change.
Try dropping the velocity a bit and dragging the notes to overlap a bit.
That always works for my orchestra sounds to make them sound more legato.

I'd just remove the mordent and play it without it. There is no
    velocity sensitivity in a JUNO-106.

Thanks for the input, Steve. I fixed it. Sounds way better now. I'm
    happy with it.

    I love that patch.
