I've switched over to sequencing using Cubase SE from Reason. I was really spoiled by how easy it was to add reverb and echo in Reason. Does anyone know of a plug that makes it equally as easy? I don't mind using rewire I'd just rather avoid the processor overhead that comes along with rewire. Supoman
Nevermind. I found them. Under VST Sends. Now I have to figure out how to activate them on the tracks.

Load them in the Send bank, they will auto activate, sends are on the right hand side on the track mixer, activate the bus, and bring the level up on the send. click-hold-drag. Ap
OK. Well maybe this is a dumb question but I was always told the dumbest quest was the one you didn't ask. I see a reverb and echo under my DIRECTX plugins. Can I use them with a VST instrument? When I perfrom the steps in the last post I only see the vst effect plugins.
OK. I've narrowed my problem down. When I add and audio track I have access to the reverb and echo plugins that I add to the vst sends rack. But when I add a midi track I don't have access to these. Am I doing something wrong. Is there a way to route to these? should I just keep my eyes open for a reverb that works with midi & vst instruments?

These are restricted to automated versions of things you could do by manually editing a midi track. VST instrument tracks are special. They appear twice in the Cubase SX mixer. Once as the midi control, once as the audio output. You can use both. CubaseFAQ www.laurencepayne.co.uk/CubaseFAQ.htm "Possibly the world's least impressive web site": George Perfect
